On December 2, 2024, the Palace of the Republic hosted the second Christmas charity auction of the Powszechnego Czytania Foundation under the slogan Art Against Exclusion. Art awakens the world, sensitizes, moves, calms, inspires, arouses emotions and revives dialogue - last evening at the Palace of the Republic is proof of this. The event was combined with a meeting of Friends of the Foundation.
Art does not exclude, but lack of contact with it does. It is similar with reading – a book is an essential factor in the development and success of every modern person. Both of these topics have been successfully combined once again.
Charity auction #Art Against Exclusion connected donors, artists, writers, creators, and many other people who collaborated in organizing this special evening. And all of this took place in the beautiful interior of the Palace of the Republic.
The auction was hosted by the irreplaceable Andrzej Slaski, and the introduction to the world of art collecting was provided by Dr. Zofia Machnicka and her KO-LEKCJA.
