On February 8, the first reading workshops for children this year from the series took place at the House of Literature on Krakowskie Przedmieście. Reading Rules in the Morning. Children together with their parents and guardians took part in the meeting, whose special guest was the Swedish writer Åsa Lind, author of a series of books about the adventures of Karusia and the Sand Wolf, beloved by children.
At the beginning, Mrs. gave a few words to the parents and the youngest ones. Magdalena Wojciechowska – Deputy Mayor of the Śródmieście District, Warsaw. Then it was time for a meeting with the writer, during which the children could not only listen to Karusia's adventures, but also talk to the author and ask her questions – both about the characters in her favorite books and about the secrets of the writing profession. It was a great experience and great joy for them. The meeting took place with the participation of Agnieszka Stróżyk, translator of the Swedish language, author of Polish translations of Åsa Lind's books, and was led by the irreplaceable Emka Kowalska from obibooki.pl.

After the meeting with the author, a workshop part took place – children had the opportunity to make their own bookmarks with the Sand Wolf character. The workshops were led by Emilia Kaczmarczyk, who is beloved by children. Of course, there was also time for photos and autographs with the author.
