International Children's Book Day - FPC encourages you to participate in the meeting

"These words belong to you, even though they come from me..."

We cordially invite everyone interested April 2nd from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM to a meeting on the occasion of International Children's Book Day.

Guests will be:
• Joanna Luberadzka-Gruca – Polish Women Can Do Everything Foundation,
• Aleksandra Strzelecka – Universal Reading Foundation,
• Magdalena Stachowiak-Alexandrowicz – Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights,
• Monika Wróbel-Lutz – Children's and Youth Publishing Section of the Polish Chamber of Books.
The meeting will be led by the president of PS IBBY – Joanna Piekarska.

The meeting will begin with a reading of the message for this day prepared by the IBBY section from the Netherlands. The conversation will be devoted to the impact reading has on the development of young readers, their subjectivity, awareness and attitude to the world. There will be references to the 2024 PS IBBY Book of the Year competition and the award in the category "Child is the most important", the theme of which this year was participation and listening to the voice of children.
