At the invitation of Adriana Porowska, Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, Minister for Civil Society and Chairwoman of the Public Benefit Committee, President of the Powszechnego Czytania Foundation, Maria Deskur joined the group of members of the Public Benefit Activities Council.
The aim of the Universal Reading Foundation will be to work towards increased civic participation, of which reading is an incredibly effective (proven) foundation. It is very important that the subject of reading in this context can be heard at the appropriate level. This is consistent with the goals of the #CzytującaPolska coalition, whose work is coordinated by, among others, FPC. The idea behind this project is becoming more and more real and visible.
FPC congratulates all other members and looks forward to working together. It is a great honor to be able to share our knowledge and ideas developed in this group for the development of reading in Poland, for the good of citizens.
