The BECEK CZYTA Literary Festival for Children and Youth, organized by the Bytom Culture Center, will take place from October 10 to 13, 2024. It is an initiative that includes almost 40 events with the participation of writers, illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, practitioners, and specialists.
During the four festival days, there will be: author meetings and workshops with the best Polish creators of children's and youth literature. During the festival, there will be lectures and workshops for librarians and teachers, as well as educational workshops for parents and future parents. Each edition of the festival is accompanied by artists' exhibitions and workshops for children and adults.
The festival's aim is for young and adult visitors to feel at home and participate in a feast full of the best experiences that can come from getting to know the characters in books. This year's edition of the Festival will take place in the building of the Bytom Culture Center, the Municipal Public Library in Bytom and the Palace in Miechowice - a branch of the Bytom Culture Center.
The Powszechnego Czytania Foundation as the media patron of the event invites you to participate in the Festival. The detailed program of the event is available at: Bytom Culture Center (becek.pl)
The event is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund – a state earmarked fund.
