A small book – a great man
The Book Institute's social campaign. Through promotional activities on television, radio, the Internet and in urban spaces, we encourage parents, grandparents and guardians to engage in so-called generational reading and remind them of the role of books in a child's life.
The All of Poland Reads to Children campaign
A campaign promoting reading to children that has been running in Poland for 15 years. The slogan Read to your child 20 minutes a day. Every day! both adults and children know today. The ABCXXI All Poland Reads to Children Foundation has also undertaken many other projects that are worth knowing about.
Great Book Collection
The campaign is run by the Zaczytani.org foundation. The Great Book Collection is organized in 7 cities: Łódź, Katowice, Kraków, Poznań, Tricity, Warsaw and Wrocław. The foundation collects books for children, youth and adults. The collected books are given to medical facilities throughout Poland.
Book Discussion Club
The Book Discussion Club is a nationwide campaign run by the Book Institute. Over the past few years, clubs have taken over all of Poland.
Literary Emergency Room
A campaign promoting reading, conducted by the Czas Dzieci Foundation during the Children’s Literature Festival and book fairs.

Book competitions and prizes
Book of the Year – IBBY Award
Literary and graphic awards of the Polish Section of IBBY. The awards are given annually in December.
Astrid Lindgren Literary Competition
A competition organized every 3 years by the ABCXXI All Poland Reads to Children foundation. The jury reads previously unpublished, coded works.
Kornel Makuszyński Literary Award
The award is granted by the Municipal Public Library in Oświęcim. The jury awards books that continue spirit Makuszyński in children's literature.
Feather Competition
It has already been organized four times. competition Feather for a children's book from a retail chain Ladybird, for authors and illustrators making their debut on the market.
List of Treasures of the Children's Book Museum
The list is entered each year to include the books that are considered by the jury to be the most valuable from a given year.
Child Friendly World
The "Child-Friendly World" competition meets the needs of working parents. It was created to promote places and products that have a positive impact on a child's development. However, the competition's goals are not only educational, but also helpful.
